I unfortunately need this for scipy's implementation. This question is almost a duplicate of this one - and the excellent answer and repository there provides this functionality for OpenCV transformations. What I need is the full extent of both images, placed on the same pixel coordinate system. The problem is that, when the images are not fuly overlapping, the resultant image is cropped to only the common footprint of the two images. I am already able to calculate the Affine Transformation rotation and offset matrix, which I feed to _transform to recover the dst-aligned src image. You might be smart as a button, but if you have an internet conversation and you're spelling is all over the place your words of wisdom will have far less impact – unless you're Einstein.I have source ( src) image(s) I wish to align to a destination ( dst) image using an Affine Transformation whilst retaining the full extent of both images during alignment (even the non-overlapping areas).

Some of those programs, like Typinator, which allows pre-programmed and oft used phrases to be auto typed at the click of a hotkey, are damn useful though and us Windows users have long been shaking our fists in the air and wishing we had something similar. Okay, okay, we admit that those Macs are shiny and cool, but in the end you're paying a premium for a jazzed up PC and a few snazzy programs that aren't Microsoft compatible. The Mac vs Windows debate will rage on for as long as the internet is alive and kicking and there aint nuthin' you can do about it.
